The Best Realtor Ever

We have lives outside this whole pregnancy thing, you know! And so taking a break from our boring news about the babies, we wanted to let everyone know what an amazing realtor we have. Considering that David is a realtor too (though not practicing), we know a thing or two about the profession and what it’s like from the inside.

We’ve been looking for a house for months, because we need somewhere to store the new family members. A one bedroom and certainly one bathroom apartment wasn’t going to cut it with two additional creatures in the house . More importantly we needed room to house family members that will be coming to help take care of them. Wait, didn’t I say that we have a life outside the babies. I guess I’m wrong. SIGH!

Back to our realtor Darin Triolo. Darin was always willing to go look at houses, always. We wrote five offers, two of them were accepted but we later canceled due to problems uncovered at inspections. When we finally found the house we really wanted, the other agent wouldn’t present our offer to the seller for reasons that are too stupid to even mention. Darin persisted and not only got our offer in, but pushed it through many, many hurdles to get it accepted and finally closed. This whole process took nearly 5 months of hard work, and not once did Darin seem put off, or out by any of it.

I feel like this doesn’t really do justice to how good Darin was. It’s more than finding the right house and closing a deal. It’s about attitude, professionalism, protecting your client’s interests, never giving up, pushing other agents to do their jobs better, and filling in the gaps when others in the process drop the ball. Darin was on top of all of it, and was pleasant to work with every step of the way. We are immensely grateful to him.
